New NSE version 8.15 Delivers Enhanced Performance, Security, and System Administration Capabilities
Version 8.15 of the Nomadix Service Engine Provides Support for IPv6 for both Client Devices and the WAN side of the gateway.
NSE Version 8.15 is available now for the AG 2500, AG 5900, EG 3000 and EG 6000 Gateways. Key features in this release include:
Support for IPv6
Ability to support IPv6 for both Client devices and the WAN side of the gateway. Support for the IPv6 Ready Logo CE Router as determined by IPv6Ready.org
Radius Failover, Required for Hot Spot 2.0 Operation
Radius Failover, Required for Hot Spot 2.0 operation. If the Primary Authentication Server fails all RADIUS Authentication Requests will be sent to the Secondary Authentication RADIUS for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the Primary will be retried.
Performance Improvement
The performance associated with the loading of the Current Table is significantly improved with NSE version 8.15.
Enhanced System Administration
System Logging Port Number is now configurable. The default port number 514 can now be changed for System Logs, AAA Logs, RADIUS History Logs, System Report Logs and System Tracing Logs.
